Ranchi, 23 November (HS). Congress has shown a positive attitude amid the counting of votes for Jharkhand Assembly Elections-2024. Former state Congress president Rajesh Thakur, while talking to journalists on Saturday, said that the initial trends are in favor of the party and this will also translate into the results.
Thakur expressed confidence that the public has trusted the plans and promises of the Congress. Be it the loan waiver of farmers or the promise of providing 200 units of free electricity, the impact of all these schemes is clearly visible on the voters. Taking a dig at the BJP, he said that the public has rejected the politics of the BJP which has repeatedly tried to topple the government.
The Congress leader made serious allegations against the BJP, saying that the party tried to steal the majority and create instability in Jharkhand. He said that BJP tried to weaken democracy by hatching a conspiracy to send the Chief Minister to jail but we foiled all their conspiracies. Thakur said that if BJP makes such an attempt in future, Congress will give it a befitting reply. The vote counting trends are raising the hopes of the Congress and the party is confident that the public support will give it a decisive victory.
It is noteworthy that counting of votes is going on in Jharkhand and all eyes are on the final results.
