News India Live, Digital Desk: India’s second largest IT service firm Infosys has announced an average of 65 percent bonus to employees for the fourth quarter of FY 2025, Moneycontrol gave this information on Thursday. Some employees are disappointed with this recent payment, one of which said it is the lowest bonus ever.
Employee bonus
The IT veteran announced 80 percent bonus for the previous quarter (Q3Fy25). The report said that the average was 90 percent in the second quarter of FY 25. The quarterly bonus will be paid with a salary of May.
Employees of the band 6 and below are eligible for bonuses. The quarterly convertible payments will be the primary recipients from junior to medium level bonus. The report stated that the actual payment percentage varies as per the percentage display rating, in which employees requiring improvement get 0 percent and outstanding performances get 83 percent.
Employees disappointed with bonus
The latest bonus declared by the company has brought disappointment for many people. A senior employee of the company has told The Economic Times that it is the lowest bonus ever in its ten years of employment with the firm.
The company says things are in response to market needs
According to media reports, the IT veteran had earlier informed some employees that their performance bonus would be reduced for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024-25, amid declining profits.
In the internal mail viewed by Moneycontrol, the company wrote, “In the fourth quarter, in the fourth quarter, we remained customer-focused and remained sensitive to the market needs.
