Jaunpur, 09 November (H.C.). “Legal Awareness/Literacy Program” was organized on Saturday on the occasion of “National Legal Services Day” by “Dattopant Thangdi Legal Assistance and Service Center” in Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University campus.
Mangala Prasad Yadav, the convenor of Legal Aid and Seva Kendra, first highlighted the “Legal Services Day” organizing and relevance in the program. Dr. Dinesh Singh explained in detail about free legal service. Sriprakash Yadav highlighted the importance of legal awareness. Dr. Indrajit Singh and Dr. Jaishan Ali provided legal information to the students. Law final year students, Nikita Tiwari, Abhishek Yadav and Chitranshu Tiwari gave information about information related to making driving license, advantages of following traffic rules and a fine related to traffic violations. In-charge department head Dr. Vanita Singh, Dr. Rajan Tiwari, Dr. Suraj Sonkar and other teachers and students of the university were present in the program. The program was conducted by Sneha Mishra and Vaishnavi Tiwari, students of the law.
