Real estate in the country has found new dimensions and paradigms beyond the top metro cities. With the mushrooming of corporate spaces, the Millenium City of Gurugram has turned into a major real estate hub.

Rs 190 Crore Penthouse

Keeping up with that tag, Gurugram-based Info-x Software Technology Ltd. co-founder Rishi Parti just made one of the costliest deals in the history of the city. Parti has reportedly purchased an ultra-luxury 16,000 sq ft penthouse in the city for an eye-popping Rs 190 crore.

This purchase has been made for a penthouse in famed developer DLF’s The Camellias, located in sector 42 of Gurugram.

This transaction is being termed by some as historic in city’s real estate history.

Stamp duty rates in Millennium City are as follows. The stamp duty is at 5 per cent for women and 7 per cent for men. In addition, it is 6 per cent for joint ownership within the municipal area.

Meanwhile, outside the municipal area limits, the rates are 3 per cent for female owners, 5 per cent for male owners, and 4 per cent for joint ownership.

The knowledge of the transaction was gained by a real estate data analytics firm by the name CRE Matrix.
