Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A 23-year-old woman constable was found hanging at her rented place in Banganga police station area on Saturday. Her friend went to her room when she did not receive her phone call and found her hanging. The reason behind her extreme decision is not yet known as no note has been recovered.
According to the police, the deceased was identified as Mansi Muradia. She was posted at the Mhow Naka Traffic Police Station. Her family members said that Mansi had been serving in city police for the past three years. Mansi’s family member said that she had returned from duty at 5 pm on Saturday and later spoke to her father over the phone, informing him that she would cook dinner soon. The family suspected that something suspicious might have happened to her.
Mansi was supposed to attend a friend’s marriage and had even applied for leave. Mansi had been suffering from stomach pain and was undergoing treatment. Her friend Ayush found her hanging in the room and took her to the hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. The police have sealed her room and seized her mobile phone. The police began a probe to ascertain the exact reason behind her drastic step and sent the body for autopsy.
NEET aspirant found hanging in hostel in Indore
A 19-year-old NEET aspirant from Rewa, was found hanging in his hostel room in the Pipliyarao area under the Bhawarkuan police station on Saturday. The reason behind his extreme decision is not known yet as no suicide note was recovered from his place. According to the police, the deceased was identified as Krishna Gupta, son of Rajesh Gupta, a native of Rewa.
He hanged himself in his room in Bansal Hostel in the Pipliyarao area. When he did not answer his phone calls in the afternoon, his father informed the hostel management, who then called the police. Upon breaking the door, Krishna was found hanging. It is said that Krishna had taken a drop from his studies to prepare for competitive exams. His course was already completed, and he had a reserved ticket to return home on January 29. The police have sent the body for a post-mortem, and further investigation is underway.
