Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Indore Municipal Corporation has taken another historic step in the field of cleanliness by launching the country’s first toilet podcast.
This unique experiment has been done to increase awareness towards cleanliness and to make cleanliness a habit for the citizens. Municipal commissioner Shivam Verma said that this innovative initiative has been implemented by the IMC by converting the toilet into a podcast studio.
The objective of this ‘Swachh Shauchalaya Podcast’ is to develop new thinking about cleanliness and present it in an entertaining and effective way. This historic initiative was started by Verma at the Sulabh Shauchalaya Complex located at Nehru Park.
Through this initiative, IMC has tried to reach out to people by combining cleanliness with entertainment. The city has already become a topic of discussion across the country by creating a record of 100000 selfies.
“Now this podcast initiative will not only increase awareness about cleanliness but will also inspire citizens to actively participate in it,” Verma said. He added, “Indore has always been a leader in cleanliness. This initiative is not only a medium to spread awareness about cleanliness but is also a positive effort towards inculcating the habit of cleanliness in our next generation.”
