Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Mayor and AICTSL Board chairman Pushyamitra Bhargav and MLA Malini Gaud inaugurated a fast vehicle charging station near Vishram Bagh and dedicated it to public.

The charging station, powered by solar energy, is a joint initiative operated by Atal Indore City Transport Services Limited (AICTSL) under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model with Zivah International Pvt Ltd. This facility caters to two-wheelers, three-wheelers and four-wheelers, offering both fast and slow charging options. Drivers will be charged Rs 18 per unit for fast charging and Rs 15 per unit for slow charging.

The station is equipped with two chargers capable of simultaneously servicing up to five vehicles, ensuring swift service for users. Besides, the station features a cutting-edge battery-swapping service with eight batteries available. Vehicles can seamlessly replace and refill batteries in just one minute adding a new level of convenience for electric vehicle users.

To ensure security, the entire facility is under 24/7 CCTV surveillance. Speaking at the inauguration, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav spoke about the city’s commitment to embracing renewable energy solutions and fostering green initiatives. MLA Malini Gaud highlighted the potential of such projects to revolutionise urban transportation and reduce the city’s carbon footprint making Indore a much cleaner city.
