Indo Pak War: How much will the audience suffer due to cancellation of IPL match? Will I get the ticket money back?
This mail has threatened a bomb attack on the historic Arun Jaitley Stadium in the national capital Delhi. This information was given by news agency IANS. This stadium is the home ground of IPL team Delhi Capitals. The match between Delhi and Gujarat Titans was to be held here on 11 May. The DDCA has lodged a police complaint in this case and the police has also started investigation.
According to IANS, the email sent to DDCA wrote, “There will be a bomb blast in your stadium. We have Pakistani sleeper cells in India which are very active at the moment. This explosion will be a revenge of operation vermilion.”
The match being played at Dharamshala yesterday between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals was stopped in the middle. Blackout was implemented in many areas after the Pakistani attack. Dharamshala was also involved in this, due to which the flood lights of the stadium were closed. After capturing the stadium, the army safely took both teams to hotels and easily evacuated the stadium. However, this is not the first time a bomb is threatened in the stadium. During this IPL, the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata also faced a similar threat. Apart from this, Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur and Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat were also threatened with bomb.
