Mohsin Naqvi said, “It was a very irresponsible and dangerous step to target the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium by India. Keeping this in mind, the PCB has decided to transfer the remaining matches of PSL to the United Arab Emirates. Our priority as a responsible board is to ensure that the cricket is moving forward and the players have been a mental health safe, so we have taken the necessary steps.”
Although Pakistan is blaming India for the attack on the Rawalpindi Stadium, the Indian Ministry of Defense on Thursday clarified that only air defense radars and systems were targeted after Pakistan attacked 15 places in northern and western India on Wednesday night.
