Bangladesh sent a diplomatic note after India left illegal people on the border on 7 and 8 May. However, it is reported that 200 to 300 people have gathered on the border of Khagrachari district. Of these, 78 were loaded on a ship in the remote Mandarbaria Char of Sundarbans from BSF on 9 May.
Meeting in neighboring country after India’s action
After India’s action, a meeting was called at the Secretariat on Monday under the chairmanship of Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General Jahangir Alam Chaudhary, in which the issue of fleeing Bangladeshis was raised.
