A youth from Hyderabad has died in a firing incident in Washington DC. The deceased has been identified as Ravitej, a resident of RK Puram, Hyderabad. Ravitej had moved to America in March 2022 and was looking for a job after completing his masters. After this incident, a wave of mourning has returned in Ravitej’s family in Hyderabad. Such incidents of firing are common in America. Thousands of people have lost their lives here.
Murder of an Indian in Chicago
Last year also in the month of November, a youth from Khammam district of Telangana was shot dead by miscreants at a gas station in Chicago. The young man was working there. The deceased was identified as Sai Teja Nukarapu (22).

This is not the first time that an Indian has lost his life in America. Before Sai Teja Nukarpu, 32-year-old student Dasari Gopikrishna from Bapatla district of Andhra Pradesh was killed in a shootout at an American supermarket in June last year. Gopikrishna went to America in search of a better livelihood and worked in a supermarket there. Dashari Gopikrishna was present at the counter at the time of firing.
