New Delhi: The tension between India and Pakistan has increased after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Meanwhile, a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan has been taken into custody by Pakistan Rangers, as he accidentally crossed the border and entered Punjab. Officials gave this information on Thursday. An official said that talks are going on between the armies of the two countries to release the soldier.

He said that PK Singh of the 182nd Battalion was taken into custody by Pakistan Rangers while crossing the Ferozepur border on Wednesday. The military was in uniform and also had a service rifle. He said that the BSF jawans were with the farmers and went to rest in the shadow, after which he was caught by the Pakistani Rangers.

Officials said that a flag meeting is going on between the armies of the two countries to release the BSF jawan. He said that such incidents are not uncommon and such incidents have taken place between the two parties before. Officials said the incident took place in the backdrop of the Pahalgam terrorist attack. Since then, India has taken several steps against Pakistan sponsoring terrorism.
