News India Live, Digital Desk: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched an all-in-one app, Swarel for Android and iOS users. The app has developed this app by the Center for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) and was quietly introduced as a beta version a few months ago. Nevertheless, this new app is already much better than the old IRCTC rail connect app.
The goal of Swarlel is to simplify railway related matters for users, for this he provides a modern interface with many useful features. Now you can use this app in one place to book tickets, watch train time and order food. If you have a rail connect account, you can use it to log in, or you can create a new account to start.
Modern and user friendly interface
Swarel provides booking services for reserved, unreserved and platform tickets. Instead of wasting time in lines or switching to several apps, users can book anything from one location. Just enter the beginning and end point, choose your favorite day and class and click search. Trains shown on the IRCTC app are similar to trains shown on the website.
Compared to similar railway apps, Swarel is considered attractive and easy to use. People with Android phones can log in from their fingerprints, and iPhone user can use face ID. The home screen of the app allows users to examine the PNR status, follow the progress of the train in real time, look at the status of your coach, order food and file complaints or request a refund.
Quick access to booking
People traveling repeatedly can use the “Booking” section to see all their previous and upcoming trips. This allows users to keep things organized without going through multiple menu or emails. You do not need to leave the interface to do different tasks.
Swarel is unique because it handles a large amount of shipment. You can turn it on by reaching the menu. Once the app is operational, users can arrange shipments, monitor them and use freight calculator and freight root map. This app is not ideal for all, but it is useful for those who often send goods or goods.
