Team India is currently playing in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, but soon after that the players will be busy in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is also planning to include players in Test cricket preparations during the IPL.
BCCI’s new strategy for England Test Series
After IPL 2025, Team India has to play a five -match Test series on the tour of England, which will start in Headingley from 20 June. Keeping this in mind, BCCI wants to ensure that Indian players are connected with white ball cricket as well as red ball cricket.
According to Cricbuzz report, BCCI is planning to organize a Test cricket practice session for players during the IPL. The aim of this strategy is that the player should maintain the rhythm of red ball cricket, because India’s Test record has not been very good in England.
