The Indian Navy successfully tested the multi-influence ground mine (MIGM) at the sea on Monday (May 5). The Navy has achieved this achievement in collaboration with the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), which has been designed and developed indigenously. According to the Ministry of Defense, its fighter test has been done with limited explosives. It is an advanced underwater naval mine. This will further strengthen the Indian Navy’s underwater war capacity. This system will make the Navy extremely powerful in any war. The Navy can use it against enemy ships and submarines.
The special thing is that the underwater Naval Mine System is fully prepared to include in the Navy. This advanced Water Navy Mine System has been developed in collaboration with the Navy Science and Technology Laboratory, Visakhapatnam and other laboratories of DRDO. It has provided significant support by high energy material research laboratory, Pune and Terminal Balistics Research Laboratory, Chandigarh.
