Season 15 of Sony TV’s singing reality show ‘Indian Idol’ has got its winner. Mansi Ghosh of Kolkata has won the Indian Idol Trophy. Manushi won the hearts of all the audience and judges with her sweet voice and strong acting and won the Indian Idol trophy.
Mansi Ghosh, a resident of Kolkata, sung a magic on the stage of Indian Idol by singing every song from classical to contemporary in his singing style. His confidence and passion for music looked clear in every presentation. Due to this attitude, he came to be called ‘Crazy Girl’ of Indian Idol. This crazy idol girl has received a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh with a trophy and a car.
‘Brother-sister’ pair reached the top 2
In the Grand Finale of Indian Idol, Mansi Ghosh competed against other talented finalists – Subhajit Chakraborty, Sneha Shankar, Chaitanya Devdhe (Molly), Priyanshu Dutta and Anirudh Susimram. All the finalists gave their best performance, but in Saturday’s episode, Anirudh was eliminated from Sushawaram show.
After Anirudh exit, the last competition took place between the remaining 5 contestants. Sneha Shankar became the second runner-up of the show and Idol’s ‘brother-sister’ pair Subhajit and Mansi were declared the top 2. Finally, Mansi became the winner of this famous singing reality show, leaving behind her brother Subhajit.

Mansi Ghosh credits her victory to the love and support of her parents, teachers and audience. He said that the stage of ‘Indian Idol’ is like a dream come true for him and he will continue his association with music in future also. Earlier, Mansi attended a Bengali singing show. She was the runner -up of the show. The confidence from the show helped Manushi in Indian Idol.
