For this Indian Army has invited applications for NCC Special Entry 55 Course commencing from April 2024. A total of 55 posts will be filled under this recruitment (Indian Army Recruitment 2023) campaign. The registration process started on July 5 and will end on August 3, 2023. What is the educational qualification for Indian Army Recruitment?

For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders: Candidates must possess Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University. Final year students are also allowed to apply provided they have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in first two/three years of three/four degree courses respectively.

For Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army Personnel: Candidates must be Graduate from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks.

what is the age limit to apply

Candidates age limit should be between 19 to 25 years as on 1st January 2023 (Born not earlier than 2nd January 1999 and not later than 1st January 2005).

Indian army will be selected on this basis

Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defense (Army) reserves the right to shortlist the applications without assigning any reason. Only shortlisted eligible candidates will undergo SSB at Selection Centres, Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Jalandhar (Punjab). Candidates will have to go through a two stage selection process. Those who clear Stage I will move to Stage II. Those who fail in Stage I will be turned back on the same day. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in SSB interview.
