Varanasi, 18 November (H.C.). The Kashi MP Sports Sports Competition (Kotwali Zone) was launched on Monday at PN Singh Yadav Smriti Sports Ground of DAV PG College.

As the chief guest, Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari, MLA of the city southern and Ajit Kumar Singh Yadav, Minister/Manager of the Program President, inaugurated the competition by lighting the lamp jointly. Encouraging the players on this occasion, the MLA said that both body and mind remain healthy through sports. To increase interest in sports from childhood and understand the importance of sports, Kashi MP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi decided to start sports competition in his parliamentary constituency. And this is the second phase of the competition, in which such a large number of participants are enthusiastically cutting the participation. He said that India can also host the Olympics very soon by the efforts of the Prime Minister. The guests were welcomed by the Executive Principal of the college, Prof. Mishrilal did it. College students showed strength in competition

Various competitions were held on the first day in the playground of DAV College, 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1500 m, 3000 m. The race was held. Apart from this, the event of high jump, long jump, golafenk was also held. Competitions of under 11, 14 and 18 aged were held on the first day. 400 m In the race, in the boys category of Under 11, Harishchandra’s Karan I, Composite School Kabirchaura’s Shubham II and Harishchandra’s Mohammad Noor III. In the girls’ category, Priyal Kumari of Human Educational Institute, Naina Gupta of Composite Pieri and Sakshi Yadav of Vallabh Vidyapeeth finished third. More than 1500 students from 29 schools participated on the first day in the competition. Kanai Chandra Talapatra, Chandrabhan Yadav etc. were included in the jury in sports. Vivek Srivastava conducted sports.
