Neeraj Chopra won the gold medal in javelin throw at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics by covering a distance of 87.58 meters. When it came to Paris Olympics, Neeraj went further than before, but this time he had to be satisfied with the silver medal. This time the one who defeated him is none other than Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan.
Neeraj Chopra threw 89.45 meters javelin in the javelin throw final at Paris Olympics. But he could not cross Arshad Nadeem’s figure of 92.97 metres.
