Police said on Wednesday that criminals were caught during their marriage amid tight security during the wedding season in the village. Police officer Aditya Mishra said that the raids were conducted to catch the criminals who returned to their hometown Kadia to attend a wedding ceremony.
Mishra said that a total of 153 policemen have been deployed from Kadia village and 17 different police stations around it. The authorities also set up a fully equipped police camp with tents, mobile toilets and water tankers to help these policemen. Police force was called in the camp.
Mishra said that some employees were also kept in plain clothes in view of the criminals’ attempt to disappear in the crowd during the arrest. He said that to increase awareness among the people and help in identification, the police on Tuesday put banners with photographs of these wanted criminals in the entire village… There are cases against many of them in many states.
Soon after the wedding ceremony was completed on Tuesday night, the police successfully arrested all four criminals. The police officer said that among the arrested criminals, Kabir Sansi (24) is also included, against which 16 criminal cases are registered in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, 13 cases have been registered against Rishi Sansi (19) in Harsud, Khandwa, Rewa, Neemuch and Rajgarh (Madhya Pradesh) and Jhalawar (Rajasthan) districts. They have also been put behind bars.
