India Pakistan War: Tension between India and Pakistan is increasing, due to which many states of the country are on high alert. Operation Sindoor is being implemented by the Government of India. The Delhi government on Thursday canceled all the employees’ holidays till further orders. Today everything is closed in Delhi and other border states amid increasing tension between India and Pakistan. A statement issued by the service department said that the Delhi government has canceled all government officials holidays in view of the current situation and preparations for any emergency.

High alert in Delhi

To deal with this situation between India and Pakistan, the country is implementing Operation Sindoor. Due to this tension, high alert has been issued in Delhi. Security in the capital has been greatly increased. Investigations are being done at malls, markets, metro stations, residential areas, hotels and transport centers.

Public access to India Gate has been temporarily banned. However, Delhi Deputy Commissioner Devesh Mahla says that this is a standard way to free C Hexagon from the traffic crowd.

  • The holidays of all government officials in the capital Delhi have been canceled.
  • High alert has been issued in the border states due to increasing tension between India and Pakistan.
  • Educational institutions have been closed in Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan.
  • Schools will remain closed in the border districts of Rajasthan including Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Barmer.
  • All educational institutions in Jammu and Kashmir will be closed on 9 and 10 May.
  • Punjab has announced the closure of all schools, colleges and universities for three days.
  • All school activities have been postponed for two days in Leh.
  • Instructions have been given to keep schools closed in the entire Haryana state including Panchkula.
  • Schools have been closed in Una district in Himachal Pradesh.
  • The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has postponed all its examinations to be held from 9 to 14 May.
  • Red alert has been declared in many border districts of Rajasthan. Where the blackout protocol will have to be followed from 9 am to 4 am.
  • The holidays of all policemen in Gujarat and Punjab have been canceled. Haryana and West Bengal have also canceled government holidays.

Airlines status amidst India-Pakistan tension

Airlines companies have issued an alert. The Ministry of Civil Aviation of India said that 27 airports have been closed for civil flights due to military condition. Major air areas from which flights have been suspended include Jammu, Bhuj, Srinagar, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Jodhpur. Airlines like Indigo, SpiceJet and Akash have also issued advice for passengers.
