Islamabad: Global Firepower Military Strength has recently released the list of the most powerful armies in the world. America will top the ranking of world military powers in the year 2024. After this comes Russia and China. India has got fourth place in this list. Pakistan has also made it to the top-10 in this list. Pakistan Army is the ninth most powerful army in the world. The Global Firepower Military Strength Rankings evaluated the military strength of 145 countries based on more than 60 individual factors to list the world’s most powerful armies. Talking about the strength of Pakistan’s army, it has more than 3,700 tanks, 1,400 military aircraft and 17 lakh soldiers. These include 6,54,000 active military personnel. Pakistan’s strength in terms of active military personnel is quite high. It is the sixth largest army in the world in terms of number of active soldiers. The Pakistan Armed Forces consists of the Army, Navy and Air Force as well as paramilitary forces such as the National Guard and civilian armed forces.

What are the strong strengths of Pakistan Army?

Pakistan has more than 50 thousand armored vehicles, 600 rocket launchers, two destroyers, eight submarines, 114 naval ships and 387 fighter aircraft. Global Firepower has given Pakistan a score of 0.1711 in the power index. Pakistan’s military expenditure is 6.3 billion dollars. The dominance of Pakistan Army in the country also takes its power to a different level. Unlike the work of other armies of the world, i.e. protecting the country on the borders, Pakistan’s army is largely active in non-military areas.
