Dhaka: Bangladesh-based Hindu community took out a peaceful protest march after International Society for Christian Consciousness (ISKCON) Swami Chinmoy Krishnadas was arrested from Dhaka airport near his hometown, Chattogram, by Nationalist Party (LNP) workers. It is well known that an attack took place. India’s Ministry of External Affairs lodged an official protest with the Mohammad Yunus government of Bangladesh over both these incidents, the Yunus government of Bangladesh responded equally accusingly saying that such statements misrepresent the facts which is unfortunate. There is harmony among people of all religions in Bangladesh. Here followers of every religion are free to follow their own religion. Our government is also committed to this. Actually, Krishnadas was arrested for making statements like treason. But the Indian government is taking this incident in a ‘distorted’ manner and making false allegations.

Observers say that these statements by the Yunus government, which is completely indifferent to the attacks on Hindus, Jains, Buddhists, Christians, Parsis and even some Jews living in Bangladesh, turn a blind eye to human rights Let’s face it, they are like ‘chor kotwal na’. Poles are getting
