But the UAE did not agree to host the competition. It was then decided that the Pakistan Super League has been postponed indefinitely. In view of the tension on the border, the BCCI has also postponed the remaining matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for a week.

 

An official statement issued by the PCB said that the decision has been taken on advice received from Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. At this time, the national spirit focuses on the valor of our armed forces in protecting Pakistan’s sovereignty. The statement further stated that the PCB and its players are standing in solidarity with the families of the martyrs and our security personnel who protect the country.

BCCI postponed the tournament for one week
