India broke the record and captured the Champions Trophy for the third time. India has become the first team to win the trophy three times in the history of the Champions Trophy and play the final for the fifth time. India defeated New Zealand in the final. Kiwi captain looked disappointed after the defeat.
Santner praised the team after the match and also congratulated the Indian team for their brilliant performance. He also said about Rohit’s innings that he was scoring runs on almost one ball. Santner said that it was good to play with India.

Talking about the match, in the final, Mitchell Santner won the toss and decided to bat first. A score of 251 runs in 50 overs was scored with the help of half -centuries from Derryl Mitchell and Bracewell. India won the match by scoring 254 runs in 49 overs. Rohit Sharma scored 76 runs.
