All matches in India in Dubai, New Zealand had to travel
India is playing all its group stage matches in Dubai, and if the team reaches the final, then the title match will also be here. On the other hand, New Zealand played their last two matches in Pakistan and now have reached Dubai to confront India.
Some cricketers, including South Africa’s Rasi Van Der Dusen and Australia captain Pat Cummins (who have been out of the tournament due to injury), claimed that India was benefiting from playing in one place, while other teams have to travel to various cities of Pakistan.
India refused to travel to Pakistan citing security reasons, due to which all its matches have been kept in Dubai.
Bracewell claims – New Zealand is ready to keep pace with circumstances
When Bracewell was asked for a response to the questions arising about India, they said bluntly,
“It was already decided and now it is meaningless to discuss it. We have a habit of playing under different circumstances and we take it as a challenge. ”
Dubai pitches can be helpful for spinners
Bracewell also admitted that Dubai pitches could help spin bowlers. They said,
“We will try to understand the wickets here as soon as possible. We have got a lot of experience by playing on Pakistan’s pitches, and now it will be our priority to keep pace with the circumstances of Dubai. ”
