According to a report, BCCI may announce the Test team against Bangladesh after the first round of Duleep Trophy matches are over. The first round of Duleep Trophy matches are to be played from 5 to 8 September. The players who will be selected will be part of a training camp in Chennai on September 12 to prepare for the series against Bangladesh.
Talking about the Duleep Trophy, apart from Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravichandran Ashwin, all other regular members of the team will be seen playing in this upcoming trophy. Shubman Gill will captain India A, Rituraj Gaikwad will captain India C and Shreyas Iyer will captain India D. While the captaincy of India B has been handed over to Abhimanyu Ishwar.
