After winning the series with easy wins in the first two matches, the Indian team will aim for a clean sweep in the third and final T20 International cricket match against Bangladesh on Saturday, October 12. In which the performance of its opening batsmen will be monitored. India rested some of its key players in this T20 series and gave opportunity to young players.

Bangladesh had a clean sweep in the test

India won the two-Test series 2-0 and now it will leave no stone unturned to register a 3-0 win in the T20 series as well. Keeping in mind an important competition like the Champions Trophy to be held next year, the team management is also considering preparing some good options. Be it fast bowler Mayank Yadav or spinner Varun Chakraborty, Gambhir is keeping a close eye on their performance and these players too have not disappointed their head coach yet.

Great performance by these players

Mayank could not play most of the matches after IPL 2024 due to injury, but in this series he has given a good example of his skills by bowling at a speed of 150 km per hour. Chakraborty made a successful return to the national team after three years by taking three wickets in the first match in Gwalior. The team management will also keep an eye on the performance of all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy, who apart from scoring an explosive inning of 74 runs in 34 balls, also took two wickets in the second T20 match in Delhi.

The opening pair failed

The performance of the opening pair of Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma will be a matter of concern for the team. Samson was given a chance to start the innings but this wicketkeeper batsman from Kerala has not been able to take advantage of it yet. He scored 29 runs in the first match and 10 runs in the second match. The team management can also give a chance to another wicketkeeper batsman Jitesh Sharma in the team. Big innings will also be expected from the second opener Abhishek, who has so far been able to score only 15 and 16 runs in the first two matches.

These players may get opportunities

Apart from this, the Indian team management may also consider giving a chance to leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi and all-rounder Harshit Rana. As far as Bangladesh is concerned, its batsmen have disappointed a lot. Senior batsmen like captain Nazmul Hussain Shanto and Liton Das will have to perform well if they want to achieve the only win in the current tour.
