IND vs AUS: Mitchell Starc was often seen pressing his waist in the Melbourne Test, especially on the fifth day. Starc is doubtful to play in the Sydney Test due to a possible injury. Australian team coach Andrew McDonald had given a big hint about Starc playing in the Sydney Test but there has been no confirmation yet. According to a report, will Starc play the last test of the series or not? The decision will not be taken before Thursday.

The decision on Mitchell Starc’s play in the India vs Australia fifth Test will not come before Thursday or everything will become clear when Starc plays on the morning of the Sydney Test. Now the Sydney Test will decide whether Team India will be able to continue the losing streak of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy that has been going on for the last 9 years or whether Australia will win this time. Australia is still ahead 2-1 in the series.

If Mitchell Starc is not fit for the Sydney Test, Beau Webster, Shaun Abbott and Jay Richardson could be seen as replacements. If Josh Hazlewood is fit then he can return in the last match of the series.

Mitchell Starc is one of the highest wicket-taker bowlers in the current India-Australia series. He has played 4 matches in this series and has taken 15 wickets so far. Ahead of him are Jasprit Bumrah, Pat Cummins and Mohammad Siraj. Starc has taken 59 wickets so far in the history of Border-Gavaskar Trophy but could not perform anything special in the Melbourne Test.
