ICC champions trophy ind vs aus: The semi -final match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is going to start from tomorrow. The semi -finals will be played between Team India and Australia on March 4, while the semi -finals will be played between South Africa and New Zealand on 5 March.

Big change in Australia’s team

There has been a major change in the Australian team before the semi -finals against India. Matthew is now out of this tournament due to injury. In his place, spinner and all -rounder Cooper Konoli has been included in the team. Konoli was included in the team as a reserve player. But now the main team will take the field instead of Matthew.

Australia’s youngest player

21 -year -old Cooper Konoli recently made his ODI debut against England in Bristol in September 2024. Konoli has so far played 1 Test, 3 ODIs and two T20 matches for Australia. Out of which he has scored four runs in Tests and 10 runs in ODIs. Due to lack of batting opportunity in T20, he has not yet been able to open his account. Spin bowling Konoli has not taken any wickets yet.

 

Matthew short injured

Matthew was injured while batting in Australia’s group match against Afghanistan. He scored 20 runs off 15 balls. But before Azmatullah was dismissed by Umarzai, his muscles were stretched. Matthew short was batting in impressive form. But he has been given rest due to injury. He played an important role by scoring 63 runs chasing the record run against England.
