Every year hundreds of policemen take to the streets for the safety of Puneites. They are also deployed for New Year celebrations.
After the New Year celebrations are over, this youth group does not participate in the celebrations every year to relieve some of the fatigue of the police. The police start the new year by distributing tea and water to the brothers and thanking them.
Tea and water were distributed to the policemen posted at Chatushringi Police Chowki, Pune Vidhyapeeth Chowk, Shrimant Dagdusheth Ganapati Temple, Alka Takij Chowk, Goodluck Chowk, Deccan Police and Sangvi Police Station.
Karan Surwase, Aditya Raut, Ritesh Thoble, Santosh Shinde of Yuva Spandan Sanstha and Suhasraj Mahadik, Adarsh Sonawane, Aryan Desale, Krishnaraj Dhore, Rohan Pote, Kunal Lad of Maitri Youth Foundation have jointly started this initiative.
These youths have started this activity to thank the police brothers.
