A sensational case has come to light in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh, where a woman named Ravita, along with her lover, has been accused of killing her husband Amit. According to the police, Ravita and her lover left the snake on the deceased’s bed to show the incident of snake bites. During a strict police interrogation, Ravita confessed to the murder.

Ravita told the police that she and her lover first strangled Amit to kill and then tried to show that the snake bite, leaving the snake on the bed. Ravita, a resident of Saidpur village in Muzaffarnagar district, was married to Amit of Meerut 9 years ago. According to Ravita’s family, there was no dispute between the two.
Family accused
Ravita’s mother Munesh made serious allegations against the police, saying that the police beat Ravita for four hours and forcibly got a statement. He has demanded justice, saying that if his daughter is guilty then he should be punished, but if he is innocent then justice should be received.
Ravita’s brother Gulab Singh said that he had no idea about any external relationship of his sister. He said that 10-12 days ago, Amit had a fight with some people of the Dalit community. According to Gulab Singh, when he came to see Amit’s body, there were bruises on the neck, lips, nose and finger. The family then demanded post mortem of the body.
Family demand
The family has clearly demanded from the police and administration that the incident be investigated fairly and whoever is found guilty should be punished harshly. The family says that they fully want justice in this matter.
