Mumbai – In Malwani area of Malad, a wife killed her husband with a knife and then threw the body on a two -wheeler with the help of an acquaintance. In this incident, the police solved the murder of murder within three hours with the help of CCTV footage and arrested two people, including his wife in the case.
According to the information received, a dead body was found in Soham campus in Gavadevi temple area of Malavani area of Malad on Sunday. Seeing the dead body, the local people immediately called the Mumbai Control Room and reported it.
On receiving information about the incident, the police immediately reached the spot and investigated. A knife wounds were found on the neck of the deceased. Therefore, when the police came to know that the dead body was thrown after the murder, the police immediately seized the CCTV footage from the scene and the surrounding area and started investigating the case.
Police came to know that a woman and a male body had brought the dead body here on a two -wheeler. After this the body was thrown here. Based on the CCTV footage, it was ascertained who this woman and this person were. Inquiries in the surrounding area, it was found that both of them came here from Gamdevi temple area.
In further investigation, the deceased was identified as 30 -year -old Rajesh Chavan. As soon as it was revealed that Rajesh lived in Ali Talavaka in the Gamdevi temple area, the police immediately reached his house and during the search of the house, the police found blood samples from the house. Therefore, the police questioned his wife Pooja on suspicion.
In which Pooja confessed to killing Rajesh inside the house. It was also revealed that 27 -year -old Imran Rizwan supported him. Pooja told that Rajesh was addicted to alcohol, so she informed the police that she had killed Rajesh.
After this, the accused Rizwan also admitted that he had helped Pooja’s body to hide. In which both the accused put Rajesh’s body on a two -wheeler and covered him with a sheet and pretended to be ill.
After this, the body was thrown into the Soham campus and an attempt was made to show that Rajesh was murdered outside the house. However, the police resolved the case within three hours based on CCTV footage and arrested both.
