After the murder, a video of the accused is going viral on social media, in which he has given the reasons for this dreadful step.
The statement given in the video created a stir
In the video, the accused youth, Arshad, is seen saying that he was fed up with the atrocities of some people in the settlement. He said, “Today I have killed my sisters and mother. If the police find this video, then know that the slum dwellers are responsible for this. They took away our house and committed many atrocities on us.”
The youth appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for justice. He said, “I pray with folded hands that not every Muslim is the same. Do justice to us and take strict action against the culprits.”
Desire to convert to religion and dream of converting the house into a temple.
In the video, Arshad told that he wanted to convert to Hinduism. He said that he wanted to name his house after the temple. She alleged that some people from the colony took away her house and forced her to sleep on the footpath. Arshad said, “We have house papers, but these people left us to sleep on the footpath in the cold. These people occupy lands and run illegal businesses.”
Accusation of selling sisters
Arshad claimed in the video that the people of Basti run a land mafia gang. She alleged that these people were involved in selling girls and were planning to sell her sisters also in Hyderabad. For this reason he killed his sisters. “I forced myself to strangle my sisters and kill them by cutting their veins,” he said.

The incident took place at Hotel Sharanjeet located in Naka area of Lucknow. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Lucknow) Raveena Tyagi said that the accused was identified as 24-year-old Arshad. He killed his mother Asma and four sisters—Aaliya (9), Alshiya (19), Aqsa (16), and Rahmeen (18)—in the hotel room.
Preliminary investigation revealed domestic dispute
Initial investigation by the police has revealed that Arshad is a resident of Agra and he took this step due to a domestic dispute. DCP Tyagi said that the accused has been arrested from the hotel, and a detailed investigation into the case is underway.
Arshad’s allegations and plea for justice
Arshad also took several names in the video, whom he accused of harassing his family and snatching his house. She said that Ranu alias Aftab Ahmed, Aleem Khan, Ahmed, Arif, and Azhar tortured her family.
