The total donation amount declared by political parties is Rs 2544.28 crore. Which has been received from 12,547 donors. This figure is 199 percent higher than the previous year.

BJP has received 88 percent of the total donations received by political parties. The Congress ranks second with a donation of Rs 281.48 crore. This amount of donation to the Congress has been received from 1994 donors.

BJP received a donation of Rs 719.858 crore in 2022-23. Whereas in 2023-24 this amount is Rs 2243.94 crore. Thus, compared to 2022-23, the amount of donations received by BJP in 2023-24 increased by 211.72 percent.

The Congress received a donation of Rs 79.924 crore in 2022-23. Whereas in 2023-24 this amount is Rs 281.48 crore. Thus, compared to 2022-23, the amount of donations received by the Congress in 2023-24 increased by 252.18 percent.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Communist Party of India (CPI-M) and National People’s Party (NPP) have given information about low amounts. Whereas Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has once again announced to reduce the limit of more than Rs 20,000 donation.

The donation of both Aam Aadmi Party and NPEP has declined a major decline in an interval of one year. The donation declared by you in a year has decreased by 70.18 percent. While NPEP donation has decreased by 98 percent. The Aam Aadmi Party has received a donation of only Rs 11.062 crore this year. National parties have received a total donation of Rs 989 crore from Delhi, Rs 404 crore from Gujarat and Rs 334 crore from Maharashtra.
