Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued an important notice for the candidates belonging to Bihar. This notice is related to the caste certificate of the candidates applying for ALP, RPF, JE, SI, and other posts.
Purpose of notice
Candidates have been instructed that if they have mentioned Scheduled Caste (SC) in the online application form but they belong to some specific castes, they must send their latest caste certificate to RRB through e-mail.
This instruction applies to candidates belonging to PAN, SAWASI, PANR, and TANTI-TAWA castes, in particular:
- Who is a native of Bihar.
- Those who have migrated (permanently or temporarily) from Bihar.
Last date and instructions for document submission
- Validation of Certificate:
Caste certificate must have been issued on or after December 1, 2024. - Document Format:
Scanned copy of self-attested caste certificate should be in PDF format. - Required information:
The email should include the following details:- Application Registration Number.
- Name of the applicant.
- Registered mobile number.
- CEN number.
- Old community and caste.
- Revised community and caste.

- Last date for submission of documents:
10 February 2025 (as of 11:59 pm).
Document Verification Instructions
- Candidates must bring a fresh caste certificate issued on or after December 1, 2024.
- Also, a copy of the old caste/community certificate, which has been issued before the last date of online application, will also be mandatory.
- Both certificates will be matched.
Note:
If any discrepancy is found in the old and new certificates, the candidature of the candidate will be considered under Unreserved Category (UR) provided he/she fulfills the other required criteria.
