The weather department said that a cyclonic circulation that has already formed in the Bay of Bengal is extending from the Marathwada region to the Gulf of Mannar, across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, at 0.9 km above mean sea level. This trough is influencing weather conditions in Karnataka. Bengaluru is expected to enjoy pleasant weather as light rainfall is predicted in the regions of North Interior Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, and coastal areas.
KSNDMC shared a weather report for the next five days on X and wrote, “Scattered moderate rain with scattered thunder and lightning over coastal, hilly & south interior districts for the next 5 days across the state. Moderate rain with scattered showers is likely over northern interior districts.”
