Bollywood actress Ileana D’Cruz took her fans by surprise after she subtly announced her second pregnancy with husband Michael Dolan in her New Year post. The actress shared a video showing the highlight of every month in 2024, and in the middle of the video, she can be seen flaunting her pregnancy test result.
On Wednesday, Ileana took to her Instagram to share a video of her favourite moments from 2024, and most of the pictures and clips in the reel involved her husband Michael and baby boy, Koa Phoenix Dola. However, netizens didn’t miss that in the ‘October’ segment, the Barfi actress inserted a clip in which she can be seen getting teary while showing off her pregnancy test results on camera, and the word ‘Pregnant’ is clearly visible.
Sharing the video, Ileana wrote, “Love. Peace. Kindness. Here’s hoping 2025 is all that and so much more (sic).”
As soon as she uploaded the video, netizens flooded it with congratulatory wishes. “Second baby coming in 2025?” a fan asked, while another wrote, “Woohoo! Congratulations again!”
Ileana got married to Michael Dolan in a hush-hush ceremony and in August 2023, they welcomed their first child together, Koa Phoenix Dolan. The actress is one doting mother and is often seen sharing pictures of her little one on social media.
The actress has time and again mentioned that she does not want her personal life to be in the limelight, and in an earlier interview, she had stated that she was not comfortable about putting her partner in the spot because “people talk rubbish”.
“It is nice to have a tiny bit of mystery, right? It comes from a space where previously I talked about my relationship. I didn’t like how some people spoke about it back then. I can handle things said about me, but I am not comfortable with people talking rubbish about my partner or my family,” she had told Times of India.
Post the birth of her first child, Ileana had also opened up on battling postpartum depression. “It is real, and nothing can prepare you for it. I am glad that I had a good support system at home. Topics like mom guilt are so real. I remember I was in my room, and I started crying. My partner asked me what was wrong and I told him, ‘I know it sounds really stupid, but my son is sleeping in the other room, and I am missing him’,” the actress had shared.
