‘IIT Baba’, who came into the discussion during the Mahakumbh, seems to be increasing the difficulties of Abhay Singh. The Jaipur police on Monday arrested him from a hotel in Shiprapath area for having a hemp. However, he was later released on bail.

Regarding this matter, ‘IIT Baba’ said that false news is being spread against him. He claimed that he had not threatened suicide nor was he in jail. The police also confirmed in the case that he immediately got bail after his arrest.

Claim to say suicide by drinking ganja

Shiprapath police station in -charge Rajendra Kumar Godha said that the police had received information about a video going viral, in which ‘IIT Baba’ Abhay Singh was seen threatening suicide.

On investigation, the police came to know that Abhay Singh Hotel Park is staying at the Classic, Riddhi-Siddhi intersection. The police immediately reached the spot and questioned him. During interrogation, he admitted that he drinks hemp and may have said that he had committed suicide by drinking hemp.

Ganja recovered, case registered under NDPS Act

Station in -charge Rajendra Kumar Godha further said that during interrogation, ‘IIT Baba’ himself took out the hemp and showed it to the police. After this, the police recovered a small amount of cannabis on the spot.

Keeping Ganja is a offense under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance (NDPS) Act, so the police registered a case against them. However, since it was a bailable offense, he was later released on bail.

May have to appear in court and police investigation

When the police was asked whether ‘IIT Baba’ could be summoned again? On this, the station in -charge Godha said,

“If the investigation is needed, they will be called again. When the charge sheet is presented in the court in this case, then they will have to appear there too. ”

On the other hand, ‘IIT Baba’ Abhay Singh has denied all these allegations. He said that his statement has been incorrectly introduced.

“I did not threaten suicide. My only meaning was that I am in Mahadev’s shelter. I have nothing to do with the rest of the world. “
