These days, IIT Baba, i.e. Abhay Singh, has become a special attraction among the devotees in Prayagraj Mahakumbh. An aerospace engineering alumnus of IIT Bombay, this Haryana-based Baba has caught people’s attention with his unique approach and art of presenting complex spiritual concepts in a simple manner.

Journey from modern education to spirituality

Abhay Singh’s journey from IIT to Juna Akhara is very interesting. He studied arts after engineering, but he did not find satisfaction in this either. In an interview given to NDTV he said,
“I made constant changes, but ultimately the search for knowledge led me to the ultimate truth.”

Doing in-depth research on Sanskrit and the functioning of the brain, he raised questions about why Sanskrit was so special and how the mind could be freed from unwanted thoughts.

Personal life experiences and changes

IIT Baba also talked without hesitation about his personal life. In a TV interview he shared the story of his four-year relationship and breakup. He told,
“In my house, studies were hampered due to fights between parents. These experiences had a deep impact on me.”

He admitted that during the relationship he lost interest in marriage and family, due to which he decided to separate from his girlfriend. He said,
“After the breakup I went into trauma. Now he is married and happy.”

Filmmaking and spiritual journey

Abhay Singh also made a film based on his experiences, after which he started facing trauma. After this, he started looking at life from a new perspective. He says that this was a turning point in his spiritual journey.

Unique Perspective and Dialogue

IIT Baba explains his points through diagrams and visual presentations. His simple and effective method impresses the devotees. He discusses any topic without hesitation, which makes him different from others.

His presence in the Mahakumbh has set a new example of the confluence of modern education and traditional spirituality. His story is an inspiration to everyone who is looking for balance and purpose in life.
