Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) continues to redefine executive education with the inauguration of the 22nd Batch of its Post Graduate Programme for Working Executives in Mumbai (PGPMX) on November 30. Prof Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore, inaugurated the batch at the institute’s Mumbai campus.
Prof Mit Vachhrajani, Chair – PGPMX, was also present. A total of 26 participants have registered for the programme. PGPMX has achieved an impressive 25th rank in the Asia Pacific region as a new entrant in the 2024 QS Executive MBA (EMBA) Rankings. The institute is placed 3rd among the IIMs. Prof Himanshu Rai welcomed the 22nd PGPMX batch with an inspiring address, urging participants to embrace this transformative journey with discipline, purpose, and an open mind.
He emphasized the institute’s forward-thinking approach, particularly its focus on equipping leaders for Industry 5.0. He also added that IIM Indore has recently achieved the 3rd rank in Central Asia and 1st rank in the 4 Palmes of Excellence category in the Eduniversal Rankings 2024, reinforcing its standing as a leader in global business education. Prof Rai stressed the importance of managing time effectively, nurturing curiosity, and prioritizing growth.
Be open to learning, and learn from each and everyone around. True education is what makes you humble, he said. Finding a connection with the elements of the universe helps you discover your true purpose and align your actions accordingly, said Prof Rai. When you understand your place in the larger scheme of things, every step becomes meaningful. Similarly, building relationships with your batch mates creates a network of shared wisdom and mutual growth.
