1). Use lukewarm water while kneading the dough

Whenever you knead dough for roti, keep in mind that the water should be lukewarm. If your roti does not become soft then this trick will make a big difference. If you want, you can also add half a spoon of oil in the roti. Keep the water hot while kneading the dough. This is a very useful kitchen hack.

2). Do not make rotis immediately after kneading the dough.

Do not hurry while making roti. If you have kneaded the dough then keep it covered for at least 10 minutes. If you want, knead the dough before making the vegetable. This is a great way to save time in the kitchen. But don’t forget this step.

3). – Remove dry flour from roti

If you are one of those people who make rotis with very dry flour, then remove it before placing it on the hot pan. If this is not done, the dry flour on the roti gets burnt. Due to this the roti starts looking black and does not look right. Therefore, it would be better that while making roti, you should keep in mind that you have to clean the paratha. While cooking roti, keep the gas flame on high. Roti does not become soft on medium flame.

4). Keep this in mind while storing flour

When storing flour, remember not to keep it directly in the refrigerator compartment. By doing this the flour turns black. Roti made from such flour neither tastes good nor is this food good for your health. First, try not to keep your lot too long. Do not use flour that is 24 hours old at all.

After this, apply oil or ghee while storing it. Also, if you store too much wet flour then do not do so. By doing this the possibility of loss increases. Also, after applying ghee or oil, wrap it in aluminum foil and keep it in an air-tight container in the refrigerator. This will keep the flour fresh for a long time.

5). You can freeze bread-

You may be a little shocked to hear this, but it is absolutely true. You can freeze the bread. Frozen loaves can last up to a week. The way to do this is to freeze the roti while it is still slightly warm. Do not freeze very cold bread or very hot bread. Place warm bread in a zip lock bag and freeze. Due to this, whenever you take it out to eat, it will remain soft.
