- 250 g paneer
- 2 green chilies
- Finely chop a 1 inch piece of ginger
- 1-2 medium sized onions finely chopped
- 1 medium sized tomato finely chopped
- 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 2-3 tbsp curd
- 1 pinch asafoetida
- 1/4 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp red chili
- salt to taste
First of all add asafoetida, turmeric, coriander powder and red chili powder to the curd, mix well and keep aside. Now take a pan and heat oil and ghee in it. Add green chillies, ginger and onions to it and fry them well. Add salt to it so that the onion will start releasing water and will swell. When it gets roasted, add curd to it and stir for a minute. Now mash the paneer and put it in the pan and mix all the things well and fry for a minute. After this add tomatoes. Switch off the gas. Now add coriander to it. Your Paneer Bhurji is ready. You can serve it with naan or parantha.
