Step 1 – Change call settings
To save data while calling on WhatsApp app, first open the app. – Now click on the three dots visible on the top right and go to Settings. Here click on Storage and Data. Now you will see the option of Useless Data, turn on this option. By doing this, there will be less data consumption while calling, but the quality of the call will remain the same.
Step 2 – Reduce photo and video quality
Sending photos and videos also uses a lot of data. You can reduce the quality of photos and videos by going to settings. For this go to the storage and data section. Here click on Media Upload Quality. Here you will get two options HD and Standard quality. Select Standard quality from this. This will reduce the quality of photos and videos. But data consumption is also less.
