Subram.am, 38, is the sixth Indian-American elected to the US House of Representatives. He was declared the winner of Virginia’s 10th Congressional District. He is also the first Indian-American to be elected from the East Coast.
He also advocated changes in the American immigration system. “I’m hearing a lot about immigration, especially people with H-1B visas trying to get citizenship and green cards,” Subram.am said.
