What happened in the meeting on the Indus Treaty?

The meeting stated that the treaty is an international agreement, which has ended in the mediation of the World Bank and India cannot unilaterally suspend it. Pakistan also warned that if India tries to stop the water of the Indus river or turn its stand, it will be considered a war action and replied.

Pakistan also closed the Wagah border.

After the meeting, Pakistan has also decided to close the Wagah border with immediate effect and ban all types of business and civil traffic. In addition, military, Navy and Air Force advisors of the Indian High Commission in Islamabad have been declared ‘unwanted person’ and have been directed to leave the country by 30 April. In addition, it has been announced to reduce the number of employees in the Indian High Commission to 30.

Airstrip for India is also closed

Pakistan has canceled all visa issued to Indian citizens under the SAARC Visa Rebate Scheme with immediate effect. Only Sikh pilgrims are exempted from this. In addition, Pakistan has completely discontinued its airspace for Indian airlines. Now no Indian aircraft will be able to enter or fly in Pakistan.
