The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the results for the Chartered Accountants final examination conducted in November 2024.
In one of the nation’s toughest professional assessments, out of 1,01,430 admitted candidates appearing across 443 centres, 11,500 candidates successfully qualified as Chartered Accountants, marking a significant milestone in their professional journey.
The examination results revealed the following pass percentages: Out of 66,987 candidates in Group I, 11,253 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 16.8%.
Among 49,459 candidates in Group II, 10,566 passed, with a pass percentage of 21.36%. From 30,763 candidates who appeared for both groups, 4,134 cleared the exam, achieving a pass percentage of 13.44%.
These figures underline the rigorous nature of the examination and the exceptional dedication required to achieve success. ICAI also announced the top rankers of the November 2024 final examination.
Sharing the first position on an All-India basis were Heramb Maheshwari from Hyderabad and Rishab Ostwal R from Tirupati, both securing an impressive 508 marks with a percentage of 84.67%.
The second rank was claimed by Riya Kunjankumar Shah from Ahmedabad, who scored 501 marks with 83.50%, while the third rank went to Kinjal Ajmera from Kolkata, achieving 493 marks with 82.17%.
Commenting on the results, CA Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, president of ICAI, congratulated the successful candidates, stating, “Clearing one of the toughest examinations in the country is a big achievement. Earning the prefix CA is not just a professional milestone, but a powerful testament to your unwavering determination, sacrifice and hard work.”
