The Indian Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals (IASAP) successfully concluded its 53rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the YMCA, Colaba, Mumbai. The event featured insightful discussions, strategic planning sessions, and a review of the past year’s achievements.
The AGM began with a welcome address and proceeded with the confirmation of the previous AGM’s minutes and the adoption of the Hon. Secretary’s Report of Activities for October 2023 to September 2024.
A highlight was the re-election of the leadership team, featuring Kashmira Gamadia of Enpak Distributors Pvt. Ltd. as Immediate Past President, Vijayalaxmi Amin of Tata Sons Limited as President, Binaifer Daruwala of Tata Services Limited as Vice President-cum-Hon. Treasurer, Rashna Ardesher of Ernst & Young LLP as Hon. Secretary, and Kashmira Pastakia of HDFC Securities Ltd. as Governing Council member. Additionally, Meena Valecha of P.D. Hinduja Hospital was unanimously coopted as a new Governing Council member of IASAP.
The November 2024 issue of the IASAP newsletter, The Professional Secretary, was also released by Past President, Moti Vazifdar, along with President, Vijayalaxmi Amin.
Furthermore, a leaflet was released to honour the sad demise of the Late Homi Mehta, who was a guiding force to IASAP President Emeritus, the Late Mrs. Homai Mehta, in founding IASAP.
Long-term membership awards were presented to members who have completed 15, 25, 40, and 50 years of active membership with IASAP. The AGM concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Binaifer Daruwala followed by refreshments and networking. IASAP remains dedicated to empowering secretaries and administrative professionals through education, networking, and advocacy.
