Mira-Bhayandar: In a sudden move, Radhabinod Ariban Sharma was appointed as commissioner of the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) on Thursday.
An IAS officer (2012 batch)-Sharma will replace Sanjay Katkar who is currently on a month long training. Sharma who was at helm of affairs in various important departments, currently served as the joint metropolitan commissioner of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).
Having a rich of working experience, he was previosly the chief administrator of the Chattrapati Sambhaji Nagar New Township under CIDCO), deputy secretary, Rural Development and Water Conservation Department, Mumbai and also collector of Beed district.
