The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday made a major administrative reshuffle and transferred 16 IAS and 11 IPS officers. DM and police officers of several districts including Ayodhya, Amethi, Agra and Ghaziabad have been replaced in these transfers.
Transfer of IPS officers:
- Ghaziabad Police Commissioner Ajay Mishra has been made the IG of Prayagraj Range.
- Agra Police Commissioner Ravindra Gaur will now be the Ghaziabad Police Commissioner.
- Deepak Kumar, Agra Police Commissioner was made from IG Agra Range.
- Shailesh Pandey has been appointed as the new DIG of Agra.
- Shlok Kumar was made Mathura SSP.
- Dinesh Singh was appointed SSP of Bulandshahr, who was earlier in Barabanki.
- Arpit Vijayvargiya became the new Superintendent of Police of Barabanki.
- Suraj Rai was appointed SP of Baghpat.
Major transfers of IAS officers:
- Nikhil Tikaram Funde has been made the new District Magistrate of Ayodhya from Chandauli.
- Chandra Vijay Singh, Special Secretary from DM Ayodhya were sent to the Department of Infrastructure and Industrial Development.
- Ashutosh Mohan Agnihotri was made DM of Kannauj from Special Secretary to the Chief Minister.
- Sanjay Chauhan was appointed as the new DM of Amethi.
- Avnish Kumar Rai Badaun and Shubhant Kumar Shukla were made the District Magistrate of Etawah.
- Nidhi Srivastava was appointed Special Secretary Higher Education.
- Chandra Mohan Garg became DM of Chandauli from Municipal Commissioner Prayagraj.
- Cealam Sai Teja was made Prayagraj Municipal Commissioner.
- Mrunali Avinash Joshi was appointed CDO Jaunpur.
- Nisha Mission Director became National Ayush Mission.
- Shipu Giri got the post of Municipal Commissioner Saharanpur.
- Mahendra Verma Secretary RERA was appointed.
- Sandeep Bhagia became Additional Commissioner State Tax.
- Kandarkar Kamalkishore Deshbhushan was made the CDO of Muzaffarnagar.
- Waiting IAS officer Rajkumar was appointed as Special Secretary Energy.

Sanjay Chauhan has been appointed as DM Amethi, Avnish Kumar Rai as DM Badaun, Shubhant Kumar Shukla as District Magistrate of Etawah.
DM Nidhi Srivastava of Badaun has been posted as Special Secretary, Higher Education. Prayagraj Municipal Commissioner Chandra Mohan Garg has been made the District Magistrate of Chandauli. Cealam Sai Teja gets Municipal Commissioner Prayagraj, Mrinali Avinash Joshi to CDO Jaunpur, Nisha as Mission Director National Ayush Mission, Shipu Giri as Municipal Commissioner Saharanpur, Mahendra Verma to Secretary RERA, Sandeep Bhagia as Additional Commissioner, Kandarkar Kamalkishore Deshbhushan is being ruling on CDO Muzaffarnagar and Waiting Post has been posted.
